I specialize in gunstocks however I do not limit
myself, to guns only. I have done everything
from engraved wedding and birth announcements to
tombstones, with a few fireplace mantles thrown in
there too. Wood is my favorite material to
work with, but I also use high speed rotary drills,
with carbide & diamond bits for glass and
metal engravings. I receive great pleasure to
be ale to do cravings and engravings. |

MATTHEWS ARTS, we are all about ART! MATTHEWS
ARTS is an artist-owned fine art gallery dedicated
to the promotion of local artists. We have
working studios, custom framing, portrait
commissions, and fine art available at all times.
Our art classes are open to all students, from
beginners to advanced, in any medium.
Original paintings, photography, and ceramic
sculpture, as well as limited-edition lithographs
and giclee prints are always on display and for
sale. A variety of themed exhibitions and
events are scheduled throughout the year.
Regularly scheduled events include art openings for
local artists each complete with a wine and cheese
reception.
Our services include expert mounting and custom
framing of your treasured art pieces. The
newest addition to our inventory is a variety of Art
Greeting Cards, featuring prints of original
paintings, each signed by the artist. These
have been well-received by our customers.
MATTHEWS ARTS is a proud member of the North
Suburban Chamber of Commerce. Although we have
been in business for just two years, we are growing
steadily and look forward to continuing to serve

The Crafters Nook
began as the dream of Nancy Mowrey, a crafter
herself, who wanted to create a store where local
artisans could sell their hand-made crafts.
Opening in September 2006 with only 12 crafters,
The Crafters Nook
quickly added more and more crafters as well as
custom framing and scrapbooking supplies.
In response to numerous requests, knitting,
crocheting, and embroidering supplies,
quilting fabric, and classes have been
added.
Today,
The Crafters Nook
is nearly bursting with crafts, which change
frequently. In fact, its loyal customers
return frequently to browse through new and exciting
crafts.
Please visit our friendly store. Smell the
